You are locked in, and the only way out is to think like a detective. Tap things in each room to look at them, pick things up and read notes, and keep the useful notes in your notebook. Use what you find to open locks: feed the cat to get the key, join two halves of a torn map, count the candles to open a safe, or take the first letters of three things to spell the secret word. There are five places to escape from. The first two, a cottage and a library, are free. The pirate ship, the sleepy castle and the spy base are Premium, with more rooms, more items and codes that need clues from several rooms. Every code comes from a clue you can find in the game, so nothing is ever a guess, and the hint button tells you the next thing to try. Stars are saved on this device only.
