Piano Beat
Notes fall down the lanes. Hit each one on the beat to score!
Work out what balances the last scale, using the scales you can see. Algebra with no x in sight!
This activity is not available yet.
Some fruits are heavier than others, and the scales tell you how they compare. If two apples balance one banana, a banana weighs as much as two apples. Use the balanced scales at the top to work out which pile of fruit balances the last scale. It is a first taste of algebra, with no letters and no numbers, just pictures and thinking. Early levels have two kinds of fruit and small piles. Later levels have three and then four kinds of fruit with heavier weights, so you have to use one scale to work out another. Every puzzle is built so the answer can always be worked out, and only one pile can be right. If you choose a pile that does not balance, the scale tips the way it would really tip. A hint rules out one wrong pile. There are four puzzles in every level. Levels 1 to 10 are free; the rest are Premium. Stars are saved on this device only.
